The immediate connection can be seen with the “JR” and “SR” markings on the heel-tab, with the left shoe featuring Junior’s 24 jersey number and the right opting for the Senior’s 30. And while a white/black base is used for the majority of the colorway, Nike chooses the throwback Mariners colors of royal and gold to commemorate that short yet unforgettable span that father and son shared the field.
